Maccabi Hockey Club is a welcoming and inclusive community competing in the Hockey Victoria winter competition. We field Junior (U12, U14, U16), Senior Men’s and Women’s, and Masters 40+ teams.

Whether you are new to hockey, returning to the game, or looking for a competitive environment to grow your skills, there is a place for you at our club.

Winter competition: April to September
Pre-season: Typically January to April

Juniors and Seniors: Sundays
Masters: Mondays

Training
Pre-season: Thursdays and Sundays
In-season: Thursdays

All training and matches are played on artificial turf. Our home ground is at Elwood College, Shelley Street.
We do not train or compete on Jewish holidays.

New to Hockey?

Never played before? We will teach you.

Played at school and enjoyed it? Club hockey is the next challenge.

To get started, you will need runners, shin pads and a mouthguard. We can help you get organised with a stick and ball.

Get Involved

We are currently recruiting players across all teams, including goalkeepers.

We are also seeking team managers and volunteers to support our teams. If you would like to contribute to the club, please contact us.

Registration

All players complete a two-stage registration:

1. Register with Hockey Victoria for competition eligibility and insurance.

2. Register with Maccabi Hockey Club.
